Volunteering for RWAA events and at the Gallery
Volunteering for RWAA events and at the Depot Gallery is a rewarding and interesting method of supporting the organization.

Docents at the gallery welcome visitors, answer questions about the artwork, and facilitate sales from the gallery.  Training is provided.  As a docent you will meet interesting people from around the nation and the world.

Throughout the year, the RWAA sponsors special events in the gallery and community.  Volunteers at community events such as the Concerts in the Park, Garden Tour, and Fall Festival help make the event an enjoyable experience for guests.  Volunteers can also elect to help at special events in the gallery such as the Sculpture Tour, gallery receptions, the Holiday Stroll and other special events throughout the year. Please contact the RWAA at 651-388-7569 or e-mail info@redwingartsassociation.org to become a RWAA volunteer.

Continuing Our Legacy
The Red Wing Arts Association is the oldest arts organization in Red Wing, beginning in 1952 as an interactive arts educational program.  Our support of the arts incorporates all forms of fine, applied, and performing arts at every level within our community.  It is our belief that a personal engagement in the creative process, the active exchange of ideas, and a commitment to the diversity of the arts are mainstays of our culture.  An appreciation of artistic expression helps us to remember our past, energizes our present, and develops a strong faith in our future.

We understand that each citizen, in his or her own way, should take an active role in the community to help strengthen it.  Supporting the understanding and appreciation of the arts helps assure a stronger, more compatible community for all.

Advancing Our Mission
There are three primary reasons for supporting RWAA’s Endowment for the Arts Program:

Opportunities for Giving
There a many options available for someone interested in helping support the RWAA and arts programming in the Red Wing Community.

Gifts Supporting Current and Upcoming Programs
Outright gifts can provide current support for the RWAA’s active programs.  Your gift can be unrestricted or designed for specific visual or performing arts.

Sponsoring a Gallery Show
One of the best ways to insure quality programming for our gallery shows is to become a sponsor of a scheduled gallery event.  Review the Gallery Schedule and consider sponsoring one of the scheduled gallery shows.

Marjorie Gray Vogel Endowment Fund

Endowment is today’s investment in the vision for tomorrow. Our endowment fund is named for our founding member and creative visionary, Marjorie Gray Vogel (at right, with past President Art Kenyon).  The Red Wing Arts Association formally acknowledges financial gifts to the Marjorie Gray Vogel Endowment at the following levels of giving.  Please consider a financial gift that reflects your interest in the future of the RWAA.
