The Red Wing Sesquicentennial Mural
Throughout 2007 the City of Red Wing celebrated our sesquicentennial (150th) year. Dan Wiemer, RWAA member artist designed the Sesquicentennial mural. Working with other RWAA members, the design was transferred onto the exterior wall of the Malmquist Building located on 3rd Street between Plum and Bush Streets. Once the design was in place, over 200 community members joined the arts in painting the mural. The beautiful mural includes many scenes from throughout the community.
