50th Fall Festival of the Arts

The annual Red Wing Arts Association’s Fall Festival of the Arts event held in historic, downtown Red Wing, Minnesota, during the height of the Fall season will be held October 8 & 9, 2016.  This prestigious event, located on the downtown streets of this historic river town attracts over 10,000 visitors to the area.  In addition to the 97 artists who come from all parts of the Midwest to present their unique, high quality artwork, there are children’s areas and activities, musical entertainment and a variety of food offerings.  The Red Wing Arts Association invites your participation in this 50th year of fine art and festivities!  Join us the weekend of October 8 & 9 2016.

This year special recognition will be given to Red Wing artist Larry Veeder who founded the Fall Festival fifty years ago. And, for the first time in the fifty year history of the Fall Festival of the Arts, Red Wing’s majestic Sheldon Theatre will open its doors wide to accept visitors. Festival goers can view the restored theatre inside and enjoy music, beer and wine on the theatre lawn. In the Sheldon Theatre visitors can view a display in recognition of Larry Veeder the festival’s founder and register to win an original Veeder painting.  The Red Wing Arts Association invites your participation in this 50th year of fine art and festivities!  Join us the weekend of October 8 & 9 2016.
