Painting Landscapes with Pastel
Learn to paint landscapes with this very colorful and popular medium. Not only is pastel an immediate medium, it also incorporates both drawing and painting. Pastels demand all of your artistic resources that will help you create a very honest, meaningful and beautiful painting.

Beginning Wheat Weaving
Wheat weaving is a traditional folk art that has been practiced for centuries. No experience required. You will learn the basics of the process, receive written instructions and leave with one to two finished projects. Learn techniques like hair braid and twisted rope plait. Beth is a nationally-renowned straw artist and experienced teacher.

Beth Robbins Keller
Well-known Red Wing artist Dan Wiemer shares techniques that make his exciting and innovative work recognized nationally and internationally. Class is appropriate for beginning and experienced artists. If you have taken watercolor classes from Dan in the past, you will expand your experience with this class. Classes include artist’s demonstrations, discussion, and hands-on experience.
October 22, 29, November 5, 12 and 19, 6 to 8:30 pm
Introduction and Intermediate Oil and Acrylic Painting
Learn the fundamentals of oil and acrylic painting techniques with fine artist, Art Kenyon. You will be taught the basic elements and principals of art as it applies to painting. Discussions and demonstrations will lead to each class member completing their own painting by the end of the sessions.
