Concerts in the Park
The 2010 Concerts in the Park series was held in the new Band Shell in Central Park. We extended the series into August with musical styles to please a wide range of audiences. Concerts were held on Wednesday nights starting June 23rd and through August 11th and were a musical treat for residents and tourists alike! Guests brought blankets, chairs and picnic baskets to Central Park to enjoy live music from the bandstand. New this year was a 4th of July Concert in the Park.All concerts started at 7:00 PM.
Co-sponsors for the RWAA Concert in the Park series for the 2010 series were the Southeast Minnesota Arts Council with funding from the Minnesota State Legislature, St. Brigid’s at Hi-Park, Associated Bank, Fairview Hospital Homecare and Hospice, WalMart, Red Wing Shoe Company, and the Jordan Towers Resident Council
